The Direct Support Professional role is responsible to empower persons with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives by providing personalized support and fostering independence. This role focuses on promoting individual growth, enhancing quality of life, and ensuring a supportive environment for the persons we support.
- Responsible for implementing and monitoring the varying plans of care details for the persons supported. Plans of care can include Comprehensive Functional Assessment, Staff Action, Life Plan, treatment plans, Behavior Support Plans, etc.
Camp Felix is a sleepaway camp located in Kent, CT. Transportation will be provided to and from the camp site.
Mandatory Staff Training: Wednesday July 22 to Friday July 24 (3 days) 9am to 5pm in Manhattan, Sunday training onsite at Club Getaway (bus departs NYC at 12pm)
Camp Sessions:

As a member of the leadership team, the role of the Residence Manager should advocate for supports and encourage growth among individuals in order for everyone to reach their full physical, emotional, and intellectual. They should guide the DSP to encourage professional growth and to ensure policy alignment. The Residence Manager will develop and maintain positive relationships with all individuals in the program as well as the individuals’ families, guardians and/or correspondents. The Residence Manager will oversee all aspects of the operations for the residence that they supervise
