Salary Range: $84,930.30 - $88,430/year

Responsibilities

Directors facilitate regular meetings with leadership and key stakeholders to address implementation challenges, ensuring that program objectives align with agency and funder expectations. Additionally, Directors oversee and lead training initiatives, manage projects, and drive strategic efforts to enhance the overall effectiveness of the program.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team to optimize departmental activities and productivity, ensuring that all processes and program areas operate efficiently and effectively. Drive the alignment of team efforts with internal support dept. with focus on achieving high quality service delivery, meeting performance goals, and maintaining regulatory expectations.
  • Monitor program progress and performance, using data and feedback to make informed adjustments to ensure ongoing programmatic excellence, quality management, infrastructure to support and advance the services needed to meet funder and The Foundling's need.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure ongoing programmatic excellence and the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs). Focus on key priorities such as Utilization, Model Delivery, Staff Development, and other core goals identified by program.
  • Conduct outreach and collaborations for Strategic Partnership development to ensure all business goals and objectives are reached according to funding and the Foundlings expectation.
  • Oversee and coordinate Respite team projects to establish and implement standardized, effective processes to drive program success. This includes providing technical assistance, consultation, and training to ensure consistent delivery of services, as well as supporting writing of reports and stories to track progress and outcomes of the program.
  • As a leader, foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team. Set clear performance objectives, provide mentorship, and professional development to ensure team members meet and exceed program goals. Regularly assess team dynamics, and implement strategies for high performing team.
  • In close partnership with senior leadership, work on programmatic needs and development and updating of manuals for the Respite Program.
  • Adhere to annual professional development effort requirement which minimally entails: attending (1)one quarterly conference, lead in presenting at (1) conference and assist in assigning team members to annual site visits with Department of Health & Mental Hygiene to ensure compliance with funders and meeting the Foundlings expectation

Salary Range: $84,930.30 - $88,430/year

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field required. Bilingual in Spanish Preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5years of progressive leadership experience in child welfare services, including strategic planning, program development, and management roles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster innovation, and drive organizational change.
  • Visionary leadership with a commitment to advancing the rights, inclusion, and quality of life for persons with developmental disabilities.
  • Data Driven with strong understanding of managing by data.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate future needs, identify opportunities for growth and develop effective solutions to complex challenges.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and advocate for inclusive practices and policies.
  • Maintain high ethical standards integrity, and professionalism in all interactions and decisions for the program.

Education Required

Masters’s Degree from a U.S. accredited educational institution or Credential Evaluation for a non-U.S. educational institution
