We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Coding Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate coding, compliance, and streamlined revenue cycle management (RCM) processes. This position requires a thorough understanding of medical records review, claims analysis, and collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure proper coding and maximum reimbursement.


Responsibilities

  

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with healthcare providers and billing teams.
  • Experience with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting medical records and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Medical Coding Specialist preferred and/or Experience with pediatric coding will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting medical records and documentation.
