The New York Foundling has served people with developmental disabilities since 1974, beginning with children and gradually expanding services to all ages, including the growing population of elders with developmental disabilities. The primary purpose of the position is to provide one on one assistance to persons with special needs. We provide specifically tailored life plans/goals to enhance the developmental skills that is needed for those to live independently within their chosen community.
