The Specialist works to effectively administer the College Choice Progrram from application review, to issuing payments, developing external relationships, and student support. The specialist supports the director in data management and ensure student success.

Responsibilities

  1. Review applications for all College Choice Students. Electronically file and provide feedback on
  2. Oversee various administrative tasks and documentation to insure efficient administrative operations through accurate updates and timely documentation, enhancing communication and compliance.
  3. Assist in tracking student data and mainting up to date information in student files and data systems to ensure Director can provide up to date data reports.
  4. Attend Coaching and Supervision with Director of Admissions and Academic Provide coverage for other specialists and director as needed.
  5. Enhance student engagement, stake holder experience, and program satisfaction through proactive communication and outreach, leading workshops/trainings, and continuous relationship
  6. Assist in overall program planning and development through creation of materials, website design, and timeline
  7. Review all financial documents and in coordination with admin and finance team submit payments for student

Qualifications

 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience of higher education procedures and documentation. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students in higher education or in higher education field. 
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes of challenges, and develop effective solutions, particularly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work effectively with a diverse team of stakeholders (colleges and universities, students, coaches, etc), clearly communicate program goals, and actively listen to address concerns
  • Flexibility and adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing priorities, manage competing demands, and readily adopt new procedures or technologies as needed.
  • Ability to manage and analyze data related to programs, including performance monitoring and client outcomes.
  • Proficient in computer software relevant to the role (e.g., learning management systems).
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Social Work, Psychology).

 

  • Demonstrated strong commitment to safety.

Education Required

Bachelor’s Degree from a U.S. accredited educational institution or Credential Evaluation for a non-U.S. educational institution

Salary Range:

$61,301.98/Annual + $3,800 Education Additive (as applicable) + $3,500 Bilingual Additive (as applicable)
